School is Out for Summer

Starts: 06/02/2023 - Ends: 06/04/2023

This is a fun filled weekend with extra emphasis on the kiddos to celebrate another year of school in the books. We will have water Wars, quarter bingo, and music at the pool for a school's out DJ pool party.

Under the Sea Weekend

Starts: 06/09/2023 - Ends: 06/11/2023

Join us in exploring life under the sea. We will have crafts, ceramics, and activities to go with this weekend's theme. Learn lots about life under the sea. Saturday night we will have a movie night with our favorite Little Mermaid. So kids bring your blankets and pillows. We will have popcorn for everyone and a fun night watching the movie and dancing to our favorite songs. Moms and dads, while the kids are watching the movie you too can hang out in the hall. We will have some fun games for you to play while the kids are enjoying movie night.

Father's Day and Golf Cart Rodeo Weekend

Starts: 06/16/2023 - Ends: 06/18/2023

Celebrate all Fathers this weekend. Dads show your driving or navigating skills during our Father's Day Golf Cart Rodeo. We will also have a corn hole tournament. On Saturday night we will have live music on the Pond Stage with the "Honky tonk Medics".

Everybody's Favorite Holiday Weekend

Starts: 06/23/2023 - Ends: 06/25/2023

Celebrate your favorite holiday. Whether it is Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Christmas, President's Day, or Halloween, come celebrate it with us. Decorate your site. We will judge for most festive seasonal and weekend site. Join us for our very first cookie swap. We will also have a mac and cheese cook-off. Don't miss the after dark hayride to see all the sites decorated for all the holidays.

DinoLand Weekend

Starts: 07/07/2023 - Ends: 07/09/2023

Go on a dino egg hunt. We will have dino crafts and ceramics. Pan for fossils at our own gem mine. There will be quarter bingo. Also this weekend is our first ever meatball cook-off.

Western Weekend

Starts: 07/14/2023 - Ends: 07/16/2023

Join us as we kick up some dust and have fun this weekend with Western themed activities. Give us a big yee haw! Enjoy live music with the "Red Hill Road" band.

Parrots and Palm Trees Weekend

Starts: 07/21/2023 - Ends: 07/23/2023

Break out the palm trees and flamingos. We will enjoy our weekend Key West style. This is the weekend to chill by the pool and relax. Join in on our golf cart conga line. Enjoy a beautiful evening listening to sounds of the band "The Big Wahu".

Pirate and Princess Weekend

Starts: 07/28/2023 - Ends: 07/30/2023

Arrrrrgggg! Calling all pirates and princesses. Gather all at Appalachian this weekend for fun activities. Saturday night, enjoy live music at the Pond Stage with the "Fast Lane" band.

Chocolate Weekend

Starts: 08/04/2023 - Ends: 08/06/2023

It's everything chocolate this weekend. We will have a candy guessing game, candy bingo, and a brownie cook-off. Kids enjoy a fun night of glow-in-the-dark kickball and "s'moregasbord".

Games, Games, Games

Starts: 08/11/2023 - Ends: 08/13/2023

This weekend it is all about playing games in a BIG way. Kids and grown ups, this is going to be fun! There will be quarter bingo. Saturday night, there will be a super fun glow in the dark mini golf tournament.

Racing Weekend and Trac Flog Challenge

Starts: 08/25/2023 - Ends: 08/27/2023

This weekend is all about racing. We will have our matchbox car races and our always entertaining, Trac Flog challenge. We'll have the NASCAR race on the big screen.

Labor Day Weekend

Starts: 09/01/2023 - Ends: 09/04/2023

Celebrate the last big weekend of summer with lots of fun all weekend long. We'll have tournaments for corn hole and horseshoes along with a craft and vendor Show. There will be a pool party with a DJ and a live concert with "The Honkey Tonk Medics". Also this weekend is our annual American Cancer Society Basket Raffle fundraiser.

Car and Bike Show Weekend and Yard Sale

Starts: 09/15/2023 - Ends: 09/17/2023

We will start Saturday morning off with a campground wide yard sale. From 2pm - 6pm we will have our 12th Annual Classic Car and Bike Show and Cruise through the campground. Then spend the evening enjoying live music with band, "The Left Edge" on our Pond Stage.

Crafting Queen Weekend

Starts: 09/22/2023 - Ends: 09/24/2023

This weekend is all about crafts lead by our very own Crafting Queen, Sharon. We will have several craft projects to work on through the weekend. Saturday evening, kids will enjoy a night time glow in the dark hayride while the grown ups will be making a fun adult craft.

Tailgaters/Chili Cook-off Weekend

Starts: 09/29/2023 - Ends: 10/01/2023

Show your team colors! It's football season. Whether you are a college or NFL fan, show your team spirit by decorating your site and yourself throughout the weekend. What would a football weekend be without tailgating? We will have a corn hole tournament and our annual chili cook-off. Who has the best chili in all of Appalachian? Saturday night glow-in-the-dark kickball and a "s'morgasbord".

Columbus Day and Outdoorsman Weekend

Starts: 10/06/2023 - Ends: 10/08/2023

This 3-day holiday weekend we will have lots of fun outdoor activities including our fall fishing tournament. Saturday evening, there will be a concert on the Pond Stage with live band, "Wood Flower". The Lucky Leprechaun Winery will be here with their wine tastings and wine slushies. Sunday afternoon we will hold a regular bingo game.

Halloween Weekend I

Starts: 10/13/2023 - Ends: 10/15/2023

They're heeeeeerrrrreeeee! Our extremely popular Halloween weekends are back! We've planned so many Halloween activities. You and your little ghosts and goblins will certainly enjoy every minute of your weekend. We will have costume bingo, a pumpkin carving contest, costume judging, and campground wide trick or treating. This year, we will have a Halloween dance with a DJ for Halloween weekends 1 and 2. Plus, don't miss our infamous, super fun, scary haunted house.
